From Bateson’s Convict ships
Calcutta II sailed from Dublin, direct to Port Jackson arriving 5 August
1837. She was a large Ship of 706 tons built Quebec, Canada in 1835. He
master was Joseph Brown and surgeon Anthony Donoghoe. She carried 340 male
convicts 10 of whom died.
